TSUKIJI HONGWANJI

Tsukiji Hongwanji is a Buddhist temple located in the Tsukiji neighborhood of Tokyo, Japan. It is a part of the Jodo Shinshu tradition, which is one of the largest Buddhist denominations in Japan. The temple is known for its traditional architecture and beautiful gardens. It is also a popular tourist destination and is open to visitors.

The temple was founded in 1617 and has a rich history and cultural significance in the Tsukiji area. However, due to the decline in the number of worshippers and the aging of the temple’s facilities, the temple has been facing financial difficulties and is in need of renovation.

To address these issues, the temple has hired a management consultant to help them improve their financial situation and plan for the future. The consultant will work with the temple’s leadership to develop a strategic plan and make recommendations for cost-saving measures and revenue-generating activities. They will also work with the temple to identify potential sources of funding and assist in the development of grant proposals.

There is also a cafe inside the temple where you can enjoy green tea while looking at the temple.

Overall, the goal of the consultant is to help the Tsukiji Hongwanji Temple continue to serve its community and preserve its cultural heritage for future generations.
