Located on a quiet street away from the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku, “Yashiku” has a traditional atmosphere with warm wooden tables and chairs inside the restaurant.

In Japanese izakaya (Japanese style pubs), “otsoshi” (appetizers) are always served. Even if you do not order it, it is automatically served to you. If you are not accustomed to this, you may feel depressed, but it is a speedy menu item that is a perfect accompaniment to drinks, and the taste of the izakaya can be measured by how good the “otsoshi” is. Of course, the “otsusashi” here is delicious.

This time, we first ordered an assortment of vegetable side dishes that change daily. If you also order the flounder simmered in soy sauce, the taste will deepen even more.

The squid geso was also the best.
